✔   Leading Ipswich into the future - Chair of Ipswich Central Revitalisation, NSP hands on each week steering the precinct redevelopment to ensure best financial outcomes for the city, ensuring the assets work for eventual sale, all the while ensuring residents expectations are met with what the redevelopment looks like, Top of Town and Downtown.

✔   Ipswich’s Safety & Security - meeting residents expectations for a safe city, understanding and valuing the role of safe city, part of safe city committee.

✔   Advocating for Ipswich (COMSEQ) - credible advocate at the table while at the conference ensuring Ipswich is taken seriously.

✔   Marnie has earned herself a reputation of getting things done for her residents, she has a no-nonsense approach, shows professionalism and respect for staff and external stakeholders, fearless in advocacy for Ipswich and her residents, not worried about politics and party lines.

Kerb & Channel Notice of Motion - council allocated $3 million in the 2022-2023 financial year for kerb and channel works ensuring Ipswich’s established suburbs are not left behind. As Ipswich continues to grow at a rapid rate, we want to ensure the city grows together and work on roads, kerb and channel is happening right across the city. 

Leading the protection of Ipswich's Heritage

Heritage Notice of Motion identified gaps in current planning scheme as well as identified opportunities for Ipswich City Council to enforce demolition by neglect.

Leading the advocacy for a better city for all residents 

Rates - worked with Residents who were in arrears, advocating for residents and negotiating rates relief and avoiding sale.
